This investment by the Ontario Trillium Foundation upgraded our fleet and provided the needed renovations to launch and store boats. But most importantly, the $114,500 Ontario Trillium Foundation funds made it possible for our LTS program to deliver programming for 2021, and follow COVID-19 protocols around physical distance sailing. We are very grateful and congratulate everyone on the achievement and effort it took to float the New LTS Dock. Thank you.

Quick facts

• The 5 NEW Zest boats allows us to offer a safe, socially distanced program and mitigate the impact of COVID-19 social distancing protocols

• The 5 NEW Zest’s are equipped with Jib packages making them fun for all ages and skill levels of sailors

• Upgrades include a new dock system to enhance the quality, safety and consistency of our program presenting a better value to our participants

• The new dock system will increase time spent on the water — more time being active, resolve better access to water, and storage for LT's boats.

• Reduces the wear and tear on boats, clears out the yard, makes room for coach boats

• Ensures that the launch ramp basin remains free of congestion for senior members to access pump-out facilities and dry-sail crane.
